I agree, there are places that we probably should avoid, but as another forumite just said 'they are all places on our to do list".
How do you avoid Jl.Legian - probably the most recognised street in Bali - Bounty, Paddy's, restaurants and kuta market stalls.
How do you avoid Kuta Beach - Hard Rock Hotel, large popular hotels.
How do you NOT do the things we all love so much about Bali, seeing our friends and families who work within markets, and restaurants, and bars - all within the areas of Kuta, Legian, Tuban and Seminyak.
For me, I can not avoid these area, establishments and people I have grown to love so much, but I can be more aware and unfortunately more suspicious of everyone around me.
