The "travel warnings" are not new. They have not changed and have not been upgraded. They have said effectively the same thing at least since the 2002 bombs, if not earlier.

I have personally been reviewing them since 2003 and have not seen anything new of substance being added in that time.

So if you were happy to book a holiday last week, NOTHING has changed.

For some reason, every so often word gets out that there's a "new warning" for Indonesia (including Bali) and the news reports grab it and run with it, scare mongering and this subject appears on the BTF every time.

Why don't they do the same for London, New York, Madrid etc? It really annoys me each time it happens because it scares people needlessly.

YES you need to be aware of dangers when going to Bali, but like I said, if you were happy to book a holiday any time recently, then nothing has changed since then.
