I havent seen anything in the newspapers or TV reports here about new "threats" (they usually report it) and up until now havent recieved any emails yet with updates from the embassy :)
It always comes down to personal choice if you wish to travel to Indonesia.. Bali or other islands so I dont want to start a debate over it.
I've always felt safe here in Jakarta as a single white female. But of course I never know what will happen... I just stay wary of whats around me and use common sense when thinking about my own safety..with a terrorist attack nobody can really predict it :)
