Garuda's banking on the adelaide, brisbane and NZ market being prepared to pick up a flight interstate. I dont know how big those markets are in terms of bums in seats, but the fact that the airline operated out of those ports for several years says it must have been profitable. What Garuda had better hope is that its competitors don't wind up their marketing wicks and pick up the ball that they dropped, because if they do, Garuda my find larger chunks of its east and west coast markets disappearing along with the North and south markets it dumped.
