How ever at least they have stimulated tourism with their campaign... No one was doing a thing to get people back and the catchy jingle on the JS commercials got people thinking and moving.
I'd also hazard a guess that a fair whack of the people who bought those initial super cheap fares had said they would never go back to Bali, they were done. These people and I could name names if I had to have been the biggest asset to the recovery as they are now telling everyone good things about Bali again rather than their previous negaitive feeleings.
I just think that Jetstar got the ball rolling and better to have it rolling by what ever means. I don't deal with them so for me I wouldn't care if they dropped out toimorrow as long as Garuda doubled their service in their absence. Just need as many posssible going as often as possible.
