Ketut Teker is doing some beautiful and unique stuff with traditional subjects painted in a modern style.
Whether or not you are staying in Sanur it is worth a trip to look at his stuff and maybe combine it with dinner on the beach at Sanur. He has 2 shops, one in the little "art market" on Jln. Tamlingan, Semawang village just north of the Double Dutch Pub and the other is on the beach just near the Hyatt Hotel.
Beautiful, beautiful work which is so evocotive of Bali I just melt every time I look at my two which are in my loungeroom. A talented family as his nephew does some stunning work too.
