Balihai closed on 20th May and was auctioned on 7th June. As far as I know the new owner will renovate and reopen under a newname.
All staff were let go and some of them have found work in other hotels. I was privileged to have been there on the final day and althought it was very sad, a brave face was put on by all concerned.
I hope, when it reopens, that some of the former employees will have found their way back to their old workplace.
