I would never go around Idul Fitri time again. Last year I was so relieved when it was over.
I don't know what the problem is, but the kids seem to run rampant from early in the morning. Lots are cared for by their "nannies" - young girls who have no control over them. The parents just sit and look on. That is was I observed anyway.
The only thing I can suggest is that you get out and about early on in your holiday and also do a lot of your shopping as a lot of the tailors, bootmakers etc go home at this time. Also it is so hard to move around as the roads are so congested.
Depends what kind of holiday you are after, perhaps Candidasa/Lovina may be a better option.
