We have just returned from Bali and spent a few days in Ubud and Lovina as part of our holiday. We stayed at the Ubud Village Hotel which was lovely. The location was fantastic because we could walk to the markets, restaurants etc. Rambutan Cottages in Lovina was fantastic, wish we had longer there. The rooms are huge and the grounds and pool are a picture. The staff were lovely although Richard was away at the time we were there. I would highly recommend this place. We used a driver who was recommended on the forum - Ceppy. He is based in Tuban but was more than happy to come and pick us up in Ubud and take us to Lovina. He then came back a few days later and took us from Lovina back to Tuban. His price was 250,000Rp each way which included plenty of sight seeing (Git Git Waterfall was beautiful) and lunch stops etc. He is a lovely young man, good fun and easygoing. He made plenty of suggestions but wasn't pushy at all, just left it up to us what we chose to do. We will definitely use him again next time we go to Bali.
