Are your lenses single vision (reading or distance)? If so, it's really not an issue to find a frame to suit (they just need to be edged to fit properly) However, if they are progressive lenses, for instance, it's a little more difficult. When progressives are made they are ground according to the measurements of the frame selected. eg heights, pupil distances etc. Therefore, when you choose a frame after the lenses are made, you could change the visual areas, or more importantly reduce the all important reading area. It is still possible, so if you take them with you I'm sure the dispensers in Bali will be able to tell you yay or nay. The reports from forumites, of specs made there, have been very positive so it's worth a try, 'cause they're useless to you as they are. As far as costs go they have also been extremely cheap compared to Oz. Depending on what you originally ordered, $300 does not sound out of the ordinary for most optical outlets. If you let me know exactly what you've got, I can confirm a rough price. Hope this helps. Cheers Diane
