current weather - anybody there now?

I know there have been heaps of posts about the weather, but have just picked up my tickets (off in 3 weeks - yeeehawwwwwwwww!!) and my travel agent has advised that he had heard from quite a lot of people who have just come back that its "unusually cold" at the moment.

Can anybody over there at the moment advise whether this is true?
