The food in Ubud is wonderful, some great places are: Casa Luna, Cafe Lotus, Cafe Wayan, Tutmak, Murni's Warung and many more. However for an authentic experience try the Babi Guling place Warung Ibu Oka located behind the Palace, see attached link. Everyone in Ubud knows this place and its open between noon and 2pm daily - cost 21,000Rp per person plus beverages.
