I went to those two shops on my last trip and found there was very little in the way of variety and not much of it was cheaper than the shops on Jl Legian.
I took a Balinese friend. He was pleased as punch with the long denim shorts, t-shirt and button front shirt I got him for his birthday but I found it wasn't really any cheaper than the other stores in Kuta, and I couldn't find anything for myself or for anyone back home.
