We just adore the Conrad. Normally I dont think we would have even considered a hotel so expensive, but we managed to get a great opening special rate when it first opened. We fell in love with the place instantly, and unfortunatley, whenever we stay somewhere else in Bali now, we find it hard not to compare.
The down side is that the food is fairly dear there and the cocktails were expensive, but with such a huge chioce of restaurants within walking distance, you can have the best of both worlds.I know many people have mentioned in the past about La Scala and I have to agree... I cant remember ever laughing so hard as the night that we went out to eat there (might have somehting to do with us working our way down the cocktail menu - knowing that the staff there would be droppng us back off to the Conrad with their complimentary transfers).
Go ahead and book - you wont be dissappointed!!!!
