My son has bought quite a few over the past 10 years. 2005 we bought an acoustic electric for $90 , an electric bass $110 and an electric guitar for about $100. Last year in July our son bought and electric Ibanez RGX model with 5 sets of strings, strap, 6 metre lead and a hard case all for $285. Our son said that he saw heaps of Strats but can't remember seeing any Squire's. Each time the guitars were taken complete onboard as hand luggage.
