Okay, our friend is not married, hasn't got a KTP, however he does have a drivers license with photo. He rents his own market shop - has a business card.
He could get school documents but they are at his village in Borneo - (he only has a mother and older married sister, husband and their children all live their together.
For our friend to go home alone would cost a further $300 aud min. and this would be by boat and takes 6 days return trip.
So he has a friend of a friend (yeah I know what your all thinking, because I thought it too!) works in immigration and can get him his passport with out all the required documents but we will pay the price - $500 aud. From what I have read, usually you would pay between $40 -85 aud (is this right?) for a passport.
So does this sound dodgy?
We really want our friend to come for holiday. Do we take the chance?
Has anyone ever heard of this happening and being successful?
Thank you again in advance
