When we went to Bali last December, we booked both the flights and accomodation separately over the Internet. We booked our flights through Jetstar using their opening specials.
We also booked a one bedroom flat at the Jayakarta Hotel and Residence for $A65 per night. This place is on Legian Beach and has a kitchen and a fridge. There are three swimming pools close together. A word of warning, the wading pool joins up with a deeper pool, so you will have to watch your children constantly.
