amass in the pre light shadows
can usually be found near swimming pools
they leap out from the shrubbery in ones and twos
and pounce on their prey - a sunlounge
The victim is then subjected to a clean towel, a book, and a pair of thongs laid on top and made to stay for the entire day.
The 'lounge hog' then disappears into the shadows not to be seen again until lunch time. Some of them won't reappear until late afternoon.
The victim is left bear the weight of the towel and book all day, out in the sun.......

Save the Sunlounges Inc
is a group of caring, tourist individuals with a conscience who's only reason in life is to care for, and hopefully release these victim sun lounges. They too lurk in the pool areas. When no lounge hogs are in sight, they will whip in - with no thought to their own personal safety I might add, and release the poor little sun lounge and put the towel, book and thongs on the paving or lawn nearby.
This can be quite dangerous and training is required. Save the Sunlounges is a registered charity and you may make donations and/or register at your nearest hotel swimming pool. This can be done mid morning when all sunlounges are covered in this blight of towels and books (sometimes shorts). Requirements are; a thick skin, quick hands, and above all, no memory of their being a towel on the sun lounge. This last piece is most important for when the lounge hog returns - as they will.
