I think I would have stayed there about 6 times in the 20 I have been to Bali, from 1986 to about 1993. The security there was interesting to say the least but I never felt unsafe there.
We ate at Mades across the road before he moved to behind the shop.
Who can remember the sweeping at about 5.30am it used to drive me nuts.
