After weighing up all the options we decided Garuda ex-SYD was for us. We catch the red eye from Coolangatta which arrives in SYD at 7:30am (two and a half hours before the Garuda flight leaves for DPS at 10am) similar times to the red eye ex-BNE.
We were going to do the "Singapore Sling" with a night stopover on the way to Bali instead of a lengthy in-transit wait, but Singapore Air changed its schedule which also meant a very lengthy transit stopover on the way back so we gave it a miss and Garuda put back it's Sydney departure time from 9am to 10am which allowed us the extra time to rush from SYD Domestic to SYD International Terminals.
We are off on the 14th June....but who's counting LOL
Can almost taste that 1st Icy Cold Binny now....MMMmmmmmmmmm
