Trust me,we see the difference every time stone comes in. Most of our contaners have a mixture of Balistone stuff and stuff from other cheaper carvers.Especially in the limestone carvings, it pays to pay the bit extra and get the better quality. For a few dollars, it is false economy. Some of the cheaper stone you can see the tiny cracks in it and it comes away in your hand. I hate to think what it would be like after a year in the garden.
