As there has been plenty of rain recently the white water rafting will be great. I've been on two different rivers, the Ayung River and the Telega Waja River. If you want more of a scenic tour do one of the trips on the Ayung River.
The Telega Waja River is a lot narrower and faster with constant rapids. It's a lot further away and a fair drive, but you get to see more of Bali getting there and back. I personally prefer this one.
The scenery is magnificent on both.
Be careful of being offered a 50% discount. We took up this offer once with the Bali Bakus Rafting company and only got 50% of the trip. There are however genuine discounts around.
THere are so many things to do in Bali you will need to go back numerous times to even manage a part of them. I'm trying!!
