You can't buy the duty free at the airport and put into your check in luggage. (After 31st March)
What you now need to do if you want to purchase duty free prior to the screening point, either at the airport or prior from a store, is arrange with the store to pick up the duty free airside i.e. after you have gone through Immigration and the screening point.
They do this all the time so it won't be any hassle.
The other alternative is to purchase the duty free after you have gone through the screening point from the shops there.
