we also feel this way. last stayed at the GVC over new year period when we had no water for a day and issues with towels. there was a general lack of service except from Ayu who always provided service with a smile. we will be trying another hotel next time we are in bali. if you were there over christmas new year i'm sure we saw you around the pool! did one of your family members celebrate a birthday on christmas day? our son was the other birthday boy. cheers karen
