You will never filter out the bacteria in the water effectively.
If you are staying for some time, buy water in the large round containers (usually used on cold water dispensers) for around Rp50,000.
Decant into smaller convenient Aqua bottles (all purchased at many small or large outlets anywhere)
You will then be able to exchange empty for a new full one for Rp10,000.
I normally give the bottle away to the plastics collectors when I leave, but don't tell anyone as I have a reputation to live down to.
