Hi all,
Geneva is very close to Seminyak, a very inconspicious tall building, which I nearly didnt visit, because I thought "that's Geneva, whats all the fuss", well Im glad I actually ventured inside, because it was very worth it. Address; jl raya kerobokan no.100. All the homewares you could ever want to purchase are here for the keen. The following is the stuff I brought from floors 2 & 3. Ill try to explain as best I can..... This is from 4 days ago.
Sequined & embroided cushions 22,000 (very freedom or domayne)
plain metalic type colour cushions 15,000 (compliments above cushions)
outdoor lights, triangle shape that hangs flat against a wall, has bits of coconut in a resin 49,000
60cm long round cushion (for a day bed) 36,000
indoor tall light stand (has every shape imaginable ) 46,000
wicker condiment holder (tomato sauce, cutlery etc) 57,750
round food covers (in a basket type weave) 19,500
small red glass buddha head mounted on timber block (very freedom) 15,850
set of mother of pearl coasters 39,600
salt and pepper shakers to match above 20,000
photo frame 36,600
tall Giraffes 30,000 (medium size)
Everything was very cheap and gifts for the house and for family back home was so easy to do here.
Whitewater rafting, was done with Bali view rafting for 200,000 each adult. The price for whitewater rafting now varies considerably. We booked with a guy off the street, and he dropped our mates off at Ubud on the way back to Seminyak for an extra 100,000. This I know was a great deal, but, BAGUS ( bar in Poppies, kuta), can also do the rafting for this price as well.He offered us the 200,000 price on day 1 , but we didnt know what our plans would be so we didnt book through him. I know alot of companies are still offering the 375,000 price, which is still a good price.
Supernova, is in Kuta, just ask a taxi to take you, everybody knows it.its very small, not far from the matahari.downstairs didnt interest me, but found the upstairs stationary, more my style. I got my neices some cute stuff and my son, some indo books (written in both english and indo), for 20,000 (hello bargain). This was a highlight purchase of my trip.
We had alot of trouble getting a taxi when we were finshed, due to the rain , so i would probably suggest having a taxi wait for you, if its raining outside, to save hassle.
Thats about it,sorry for spelling mistakes, my son is having a bad day, and Im trying to do everything at once. lol. any more questions just ask. Monasharona
