I just purchased flights . cost $1250 plus $200 taxes (NZ $).
I go through bali.co.nz as they seem to know what is going on with the airlines better than our local agents.
Package deals dont suit me as I stay in 3 star places for around 160,000 rp which is usually cheaper than packages. However package deals are often very good as the hotels are superior to mine.
This time of year the beaches can be rough and windy so picking a hotel with a nice pool is a good idea
