They went down due to Terrorism not bad business management. Because they paid Qantas prior to shut down to uplift everyone in Bali at the time. Because they would come back under harsh guidleins as indicated by IATA and because we are desperate.... In Brisbane we'll take just about anything. Would I risk my dough - absolutely and I lost more than anyone on this Forum bar Putuh Les..

Travel agents books seats on airlines every day of the year that they are uncomfortable with and advise passengers accordingly. There are some dodgy outfits out there that are safe but totally unreliable and when planning a trip, especailly with international connections you want to know they'll get there. Passengers make there own decisions and often roll the dice on these matters. many are motivated by saving money, many will fly Qantas and look at no other for every trip no matter what the cost.

I would like them back simply to see everyone get the tcikets they lost and I firmly believe this will occur if they come back. Would be business suicide not to start with some relationship building.

You'll notice that all Travel Agents now have in the terms and conditions that they accept no third party liability for airline collapse or tour operators. Nor do any of the Insurance companies.

Let's just wish them well and hope that if they can come back it's good for us and good for Bali. They did the best the could under imposssible hardship. Time heals all things and I'm certain most have calmed down and would accept compensation by way of a free ticket. That has been my experience in talking to people any way.

For those still holding out for money I think that is possibly unrealisitc.

Onward and upward to Bali
