Has always been one of my favorites for years, It is located on Jl. Padma. If you're coming from Jl Legian headed toward the beach...pass Garlic Lane, and before turning to Padma Utara (the street Puri Raja is on), it is located on the left side of the street. My favorite is their grilled chicken breast with the creamy cheese sauce. I realize it isn't Indonesian food....but it's very different than what get at home. There are many great Indonesian Warungs in the vacinity. There is also a good Thai Food Restaurant a couple doors down..It's a good area for variety.
Also Adika Sari Bungalows has a great Nasi or Mie Goreng..that's right across the street from Puri Raji............and right around the corner is a fabulous pasty and coffee shop on left.....actually it seems as though there are a couple pasty shops there now..not to mention mexican, Italian, Seafood...and of course numerous Warungs...and don't be afraid to try a Masakan Padang....if unfamiliar it may look scarey because the food it left out.........but it is wonderful.. I have never gotten Bali Belly...actually Masakan Padangs are another of my favorites...I crave the food.
I've stayed in this area many times....it has grown a lot in the past few years. There are a lot of good shops/Restauants/internet cafes/DVD stores and Kevins store is a super convenience store at least (it was last time I was there, you never can tell when tourism has been quiet if they'll be well stocked or not)it's different than a circle K...but it is right across the street from Puri Raja also..I really like the location..I hope you do too...have fun.
