Thanks to all the people that replied to my post below re Voa in American or Aussie. Today I went into the city and walked past a travelex. I went in and enquired and came out with US 125.00 it cost me a fee of $8.00.
I don't have to worry about it now just have to worry about getting the rupiah for the taxi. Do they have money changers at the airport to change enough for a taxi.
Do they have taxi vans or something that will fit 5 people and luggage or will we have to get two taxis. It would be nice to all be in the one car so I can see the expressions on my kids faces. It has only been 2 1/2 years since we were last there but I'm sure they will have forgotten have the sights that will make them gasp with pleasure and amazement.
