Hi, Im popping over to Singapore tomorrow for 4 days (to visit my parents who live there) there is heaps to do in Singapore.
The hippo that misslizy is talking about you can join at Suntec city, however you can buy the tickets at CENTREPOINT which is on orchard Road. There is a tourist information centre there, (its right on the corner near the HMV store) where you can buy tickets for the zoo, bus tours, bird park etc etc... I think the price for the "duck/hippo" tour is 30 dollars Singaopre.. I stil have the ticket stubs here.
Catch the trains as well.. really cheap and fast :)
If you and your husband like seafood, try going out to EAST COAST PARK.. here they have great resturants.., the kids can rollerblade, hire bicycles, and play in the kids area.. there is also a pool area here with slides etc... you will pass it on the way in to the city from the airport.
A 24 hour mall.. called the MUSTAFA centre in Little India.. that sells EVERYTHING!!.. you have other shopping centres such as BUGIS JUNCTION... PARK WAY PARADE...JURONG POINT etc etc..
Lots of great resto's and shopping in CHINA TOWN also... it has just been renovated... just tell the taxi driver to let you off at SMITH STREET... and walk around there :)
The night safari at the zoo isnt really that great... kinda overated really.... (my nephews and sister went on it... soo boring apparently) and make sure its good weather... because you wont be able to see anything in the rain...
