Just wondering why so many people

here on the forum, especially from Australia tend to stay at kuta, legian etc. I have stayed both on the coast and up in ubud and personally i love ubud and surrounding areas. I know it's personal preferences but am interested in what draws you to the coast so much instead of ubud, maybe its the water or the night life. Just curious, although i might change my mind this may when i stay a week in Sanur. Cheers and happy holidays. Kerrie
