I thought i would just put your minds at ease with respect to flying Garuda from Australia to bali. When Garuda come to Australia there aircraft are maintained by qantas engineering so you know that they are airworthy when they leave Australia.Any aircraft that enters Australia has to comply with C.A.S.A. laws and one of them is that aircraft must be airworthy before leaving Australia or flying within Australian airspace.Garuda has a good maintanence record so dont be put off with flying with them. How i know this is because i worked for Ansett Airlines and we also used to maintain there aircraft before we colapsed.Garuda will come through this because it is the national airline of indonesia.I hope this has helped those who are not good flyers or are thinking of changing there travel plans.Go and as always enjoy Bali.
