im glad you included the monkey mishap i have told everyone i know about how nasty they can be but it seems to go on deaf ears.my granddaughter was bitten 2 yrs ago luckily not as bad as your son but it did change my views on visiting them again ,i will be returning to bali in september with granddaughter now 6 and we will not go to see monkeys at her request.
she did not have food she was walking beside us and the monkey grabbed her skirt then bit her on her wrist.
