Hi my first day in Bali was excellent went and saw our Balinese friends and then went swimming in the pool at the lovely BaliGarden,
Tuesday went shopping everywhere got a driver from the hotel for 300,000 for the day, went to Denpasar markets and bought lge hairy nose lamps at the bargain price of 45,000 rupiah (app $6 aud) and a beautiful pyramid shaped 2 mtr tall cupboard for $20 aud, also bought 2 lamps for $10 each ,you need to take a trip to denpasar markest very cheap, but you do get harrased pretty bad by the street sellers.
Wednesday i went furniture shopping bought a Water Hyacinth Dining setting with a matching coffee table for app $350 aud.
Took a trip to Geneva this place has put their prices up cheaper to go to Denpasar.
Thursday just relaxed with a beautiful foot massage .
Went walking on the Beach on Tuesday morning but there was all this oil like stuff and it smelt real bad all along the beach there were dead Turtles, Large fish and eels the smell i could not get off my thongs i had to leave them in Bali.
Thursday night went out and got a bit under the weather.
FridaY another releaxing day at the hotel.
My husband had learnt a song with his Balinese friend "welcome to my Paradise" drove me absolutely mad he must have sang it 500 times.
Saturday was Tatoo day my husband got a memorial tatoo for his father he designed it and had it done on his ribs , when i went to see him at the Tatoo shop he said it was the worst pain he had ever felt in his life {he also had a hangover which didnt help} took 3 hours. My sister inlaw was next I had never heard anyone in so much pain could not stop laughing, i was next hurt a bit pulled a couple of faces with pain but all in all good.
Sunday was not a good day because it meant we had to go home final shopping done on this day which gave me excess luggage at the airport at $15 kilo i had 8 kilos'I also took about 20 enviro bags down to the beach to give to the beach sellers i was absolutley mobbed they love them i will have to take double next time
