To prevent spoiling your holiday,to take a few steps to stop you getting sick whilst in Bali. It's easier to stock up in OZ before going, very important to take antibacterial hand wash either in wet towelettes or gel, wash your hands frequently during the day as you will be handling money that has gone through lots of hands before you get to it. Buy some Immodium or Gastrostop for diahhorea, I never go to Bali without them. Take RID with tropical strength against mosquitoes, there are quite a few chemists in Legian where you can get antibotics. Usually you are only there for a short period of time so you don't want to spend half of it not being able to move more than 1 metre from the toilet.Your travel insurance will cover you for visits to a doctor if need be, you have to pay first but it's not all that much, the doctor will also give you the medication you need at the visit. When you arrive take a visit to a supermarket where you can buy mosquito spray, I use this to spray under the bed ,behind curtains & under cane furniture. You can also buy plug in mosquito pad at the supermarket, very cheap. Take sunscreen from OZ as it is very expensive in Bali.
Hope all this helps,if you want any further help or clarification please post again.
