I am pretty sure that the section of beach that Ron is referring to is right at the southern tip of Sanur, closest to the harbour. A year or so back, many of the beachside cafes further up ( near Stiff Chilli) lost their licences ( and due to redevelopment) were relocated to this area. It has a wonderful Jimbaren bay feel about it, pretty quiet during the day, but at sunset, you can see the sun go down, and enjoy a quiet beer or 3, with your feet in the sand.
