We have been to Bali several times and always use our westpac card! Never had a problem, just make sure it has the cirrus logo on it to ensure you can use it. This is just the banking card - my visa is also westpac and I have my savings account attached to that card as well - never had to use it there for withdrawal purposes only for shopping!!
