I got mine last week in readiness for my trip to Bali next weekend.
It costs $22.20 at any RAC branch or $30 if you need to have a passport photo taken (I had some spare pics from my passport renewal).
Pretty much goes along the lines of, "Whatever you are licensed to drive in Australia, you can drive in Bali".
As I have a 250cc license here I can ride up to the same over there.
Only thing I am not really sure of is...you can ride a scooter up to 50cc on a car license here (Which I think is ridiculous, no motorbike skills required at all apparently), but not sure if it applies over there...
