We got 'tourist map' from airport - we knew we couldnt possibly see everything so narrowed it down to Little India, Bugis Street, ChinaTown and Gluttons Bay.
Have heard the Zoo is worthwhile, but we werent interested.
There is free shuttle buses from motels - so we caught one into Orchard Road the first night and then another free shuttle back to hotel later.
Next day they had a free drop off to Little India - but you had to make your own way back.
They also have a hop-on (?) city bus that you pay a set amount and can hop on and off as many times as you like in a day.
The places we bought from were fixed prices.
Wandered into a supermarket for a peep, and Rockmelons were s$66 each, 3 Kiwi fruit S$5.90, and the biggest apples i have ever seen s$16 each - we decided not to buy any hahha.
