Thanks for your very newsy overview of Singapore airlines experience and Singapore itself. Like you in Brisbane, we have lost our direct Garuda connection to Bali out of Adelaide; but going via Singapore airlines and Singapore is a daily option for us. I am seriously comtemplating doing it this way in 07 as the via Melbourne and Sydney option doesn't really appeal too much - I did it last year and it didn't really add anything worthwhile to the journey...just $700 more in costs! It's been over 20 years since I last visited Singapore and adding a extra couple of days to the Bali trip to include a Singapore stopover doesn't matter too much. From what you have said here, there seems to be plenty to see and do. Thanks again. Cheers - kevin
