Safe at Adi Dharma?

Can someone please give me some info on how close the adi dharma is to where the bombings happened in 01? I am still a little funny about safty in Bali- and wasnt too fussed on Kuta. I stayed at the Mandira in Legian and it was Beautiful, but i am just going with a couple of friends this time and we want to go for as cheap but as nice as possible.
