We had our first ones done there about 10 years ago. I got a traditional Balinese style arm band to celebrate my 8th visit. We had ours done by a trophy engraver with about 3 sewing new needles tied together with a piece of cotton. There wasn't many real tattoo machines back then. It was all good. The new places are all pretty clean. The only issue is keeping the germs out after you leave the Tattoo shop, this may be a bit hard in Bali.
