have funded 3 teachers for us this year from their fund raiser.
This was brought about because we added a course at the Learning Centre in Animal Care early last year. The students just love learning about different animals and how to care for them. Across the road from the LC, we had a very skinny dog named Rocky.
As the children found out more about dogs and how to love and care for them, the healthier Rocky became. The children have taken him as their "mascot". He comes to school everyday a walks freely around making sure that everone is OK. He has also taken on the job of watch dog for the centre and takes his job very seriously:-)
