Read an interesting article in the travel guide in Adelaide's Sunday Mail.
An internationally acclaimed expert (don't remember his name) was asked for his top ten hotels in the world - based on luxury, scenery, ambience etc. Bali had 3 of the top ten. They were The Bale at Nusa Dua, The Club at The Legian (in Seminyak) and a Villa Complex
(can't remember the name) in Ubud. Is senility setting in?
Anybody had the opportunity to stay at any of these places?? I've seen pictures but they are way out of my price range - but it's nice to dream.
I showed the article to one of my loud mouth mates who thinks that people only go to Bali because it's cheap for the ordinary aussie. He is partially right - but it is also wonderful. You can't convince cynics or bigots.
