I always take a few cans of Bushmans, a repellent that contains Deet and it works well.
I would not trust a citronella repellant over there.
lots of negatives about Deet, but its the best repellant I have found and works for ages as well.
I am allergic to insect bites and have tried most things but from now on its Bushmans for me.
they sell it in camping type stores etc. not cheap but well worth the extra for the efficiency.
