Sunday
This morning our driver and his family came to visit at our hotel (Puri Raja) for a swim, Nyomen's wife is pregnant with their 3rd child due in 2 weeks, Nyomen also delivered his push bike for me to use while in Bali. I love to be able to ride around Kuta/Tuban, and my daughter and her friend as well as my sister also hired push bikes to ride around with me. We hired them from across the road from the Garden View Hotel. We had them for 5 days and paid 70,000rp for the 5 days. This night we went to Bubba Gumps for tea. I just love that bucket of prawns, my daughter had the spare ribs, her friend one of the fish dishes, with entree shared of Onion rings, and calamari. We all enjoyed the meal, and had fun with the waiter who had plenty of magic tricks up his sleeve.

Monday
Today we went on a rafting trip, previously I have used Bali International Rafting company, and have really enjoyed it. This time we used the (excuse the spelling) Telega Waga rafting company (the one the river is named). Anyway, we enjoyed the river, but in my opinion, the lunch was better with the International Rafting company. But a great day was had. Those steps at the end can be a killer can't they, but as we were climbing up the steps, I passed a guys coming down with a Bali Intertional Rafting T shirt on and got talking to him, he said that in 1 month they would be opening their new restaurant which was 4 km further on down the river, but he said that the bus could drive down to the restaurant, so NO steps. Would love to hear from anybody that goes rafting with them in approx 1 month. What a find if you don't have to climb all those steps. But a great day was had, the scenery on that river as well as the boat ride, is just magic. On our return we rode the bikes to the Bintang supermarket to have a look, and re stock supplies

On our return to Legian, tonight we went to Ours for dinner, caught up with Nikki and the staff at Ours, we all had a great meal can't really remember what we had, but brought from the street seller guys, who show you the cars and baby dolls. Got home and the car works fine, but the baby doll doesn't do anything, must have got a dud, tried new batteries and everything. Well, you can't expect to have everything go your way. Lost out on this one.

Tuesday
The kids went surfing with one of the people that work at the Bali Rani front desk, we called in to say hello, and as you do in Bali conversation got around to them wanting to learn to surf, he surfed near the Kumala hotel and said for them to meet him and he would take them out. They hired boards fo 20,000rp which I thought was great, and he and the guy that they hired the boards from, went out into the water with them. There was a Rip Curl surf school in progress near where they were, and to have 1 on 1 with these 2 guys was great. The kids gave them both 50,000rp which I don't know if was enough but hope it was, they had a great time for the morning.

My sister and I rode the push bikes from the Puri Raja, via Supa Nova, down to the printers to collect our printing, then onto Ayu Nadi supermarket to have a look around, back via Jalan Kartika Plaza, and back to the hotel, while they were surfing. That afternoon, we had a little time in the pool, and the Librian from Sobangan SD3 school came to visit to collect the dictionary we had brought for him from Bintang Supermarket. We had a game of table tennis with him, then had to get organized for dinner that night, which we had at the Puri Raja, they had a buffet dinner 70,000rp, with a singer called Beny. The food was really good though I think there was only 13 or so people, which the boss from the restaurant said they needed 15 to cut even. Anyway, most people had a great time, with requests being given to Beny, Made a bit of a fool of myself, I was up taking a photo of one of the staff and guests singing with Beny, and they started taking the table cloths off the unused table cleaning up and the waiter put the table cloth around me like a sarong, and the chef started dancing, so what the heck, I decided to pretend to dance like the traditional dancers, well let me tell you, my moves are nothing like theres, but it was a laugh anyway, for me and them. After that a group of us went to have a laught at the early Hula Show in Garlic Lane. Some good photos were taken, before heading back to the hotel to bed, ready for an early start for the Bike ride tour with Bike Baik with Wayan from Ubud, as we were being picked up at 7.00am - 7.15am.

Once again sorry for going on, as people have said in their JBR's once you start you get carried away.
