We've found it easy and fast enough to pay this way and we've got our change at a fair rate. If you have to travel somewhere else from where you live to get US dollars and/or have to pay some ridiculous commission rate, then it's much quicker, easier and cheaper to do it with a clean, crisp Aussie $50 note each.
