My 18yr old son stayed at the bounty in november with 7 of his mates, he said it was great they had different theme night's which they enjoyed then partied on later elsewhere. I think they will enjoy themselves at any of the places mentioned so far. As for the surfing they hired a bemo went to Nusa Dua and got a boat to take them to the surf break. I was actually very surprised at how much they did do in a week you know all the things like waterbom, white water rafting, I was very surprised when he said that they had breakfast each day, I didn't think that they would rise that early but I was wrong. I'm sure your son and friends will enjoy Bali no matter where they stay.
