You have to go to bali brumby. The owner Putu has over 10 years experience. If their is a particular style you want and you have a photo you can take it over with you or browse through their books. When I was there in january, I had two evening dresses made, one of them I had seen on display at another tailors and I just told Putu where it was and he went and had a look, came back to the shop and sketched it out. The dresses were perfect, i am very happy with them. I also had a couple of blouses made, because I am tall I find it hard to get tops that are long enough, so I took one over with me that I just love and went into denpasar with Putus brother picked out a heap of different materials and had 4 copies of the style I like done. I also picked a couple of styles out of their pattern books.
You dont need to take a pattern, as they will only look at the picture anyway.
I even went into Matahari up to the womens department and found a style of blouse I like, but the pattern of the material was awful, so putu went up their with me (as I can't draw to save myself) he had a look and went back to the shop and sketched it out.
